Clinical Programs
The Dennis Developmental Center (DDC) is a primary site for clinical activities. The section affords multi-disciplinary evaluation services through an interdisciplinary team. Complex developmental disorders and Autism Spectrum disorders are diagnosed withThe section of Developmental/ Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation affords inpatient and outpatient Developmental and Rehabilitative services for children admitted to Arkansas Children’s Hospital with a myriad of tertiary care services that include Intramuscular Botox injections, pediatric EMG and care for a fourteen bed Acute Tertiary Care Rehabilitative Unit.
The section has established a continuum of care with Arkansas Children’s Hospital clinical activities with outside organizations such as Easter Seals, Developmental Disability Services and local providers to detect and treat children with severe and complicated health care needs such as Autism, Spina Bifida, Muscular Dystrophy, Traumatic Brain Injury, Developmental Delay, Cerebral Palsy, Attention Deficit Disorder, Learning Disabilities, and Failure to Thrive at the earliest age possible.
