The Department of Pediatrics, Section of Rheumatology of the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences College of Medicine located at Arkansas Children’s Hospital in Little Rock, Arkansas, seeks candidates for a Clinical Educator as the third member of the Pediatric Rheumatology Section. Requirements include an MD/DO degree and board eligibility/board certification in Pediatric Rheumatology. The focus of the position will be clinical care, education and clinical research. The position is available immediately, but the starting date is negotiable.
The Pediatric Rheumatology service receives approximately 650 patient referrals a year. The UAMS Department of Pediatrics employs over 240 faculty members and 90 residents. Arkansas Children’s Hospital is among the largest children’s hospitals in the United States and is the only tertiary care faculty for children in the state of Arkansas. For the past three years, Arkansas Children’s Hospital has been ranked among the nation’s best places to work by FORTUNE. The Arkansas Children’s Research Institute, located on campus, boasts excellent new laboratory space.
