The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences and the Neuroscience Center at Arkansas Children’s Hospital are seeking an additional Child Neurologist to join our Neuroscience team that currently includes 13 Child Neurologists, 4 Pediatric Neurosurgeons, 2 Physical Medicine Specialists, 3 Neuroradiologists, and multiple other specialists.  We also have an active Child Neurology Residency Program.  This position will include a faculty appointment in the Departments of Pediatrics and Neurology at UAMS with an excellent salary and benefit package.

We are the only Child Neurologists in the state, and our practice is based at Arkansas Children’s Hospital which is the only tertiary pediatric hospital in Arkansas and the sixth largest children’s hospital in the country.  ACH is set to open a large expansion this summer that will include a new outpatient Neuroscience Center with 35 exam rooms and a 10-room Neurophysiology Lab.  Our program includes several multidisciplinary clinics that are organized for patients with specific disorders to be evaluated by multiple specialists during a single clinic visit.  Our inpatient Neuroscience Unit includes an Epilepsy Monitoring Unit with 8 video EEG recording systems.
