Center for Excellence in Clinical Care
The Office of Faculty Development is pleased to announce a new quarterly series titled “Promoting Excellence in Pediatric Health Care and Education.” Under the leadership of Dr. Larry Simmons, the primary focus of this new series will be to identify and share evidence based clinical practice guidelines for all faculty responsible for educating residents. It is hoped that evidence based medicine reasoning will promote consistent resident education for common pediatric diagnoses, whether the patients are seen in primary care, specialty care, and hospital care, as we strive to treat our patients with current recommendations from these guidelines.
