Schmeiding Developmental Center

The Schmieding Developmental Center, located in Springdale, Arkansas, provides comprehensive developmental assessments of children from birth to 18 years of age. The assessments address a number of developmental concerns including:
  • Autism
  • Childhood mood and anxiety disorders
  • Developmental delay
  • High risk infants
  • Learning and attention difficulties
  • Tourette syndrome
The staff of psychologists, physicians, an advanced nurse practitioner, and a speech and language pathologist serves the mission of the developmental center: to provide exceptional, comprehensive evaluations that look at each aspect of a child‘s development and generate detailed intervention and treatment recommendations as well as follow-up care as appropriate.
