2013 Educators of the Year Awards
Congratulations to the 2013 Educators of the Year! A recent $1 million gift allows Arkansas Children's Hospital to create its first Endowed Chair in Injury Prevention. The majority of the gift was funded by by Belinda Shults of Little Rock, in honor of her late husband, Robert L. Shults, who served on the ACH Board of Directors for 26 years, until his death in 2010. Arkansas Blue Cross and Blue Shield, and the Arkansas Children's Hospital Auxiliary also made gifts to support the endowed chair.
